PRx Profile® Incline Folding Bench

This is the bench you need for the space you have. The PRx Profile® Incline Folding Bench can adjust to 12 total positions, covering everything from flat to the military press position. Engineered to fit perfectly within all of our wall-mounted racks,* the Incline Folding Bench will line up with your rack, so you can get straight to your lift without fuss, no matter the incline position.

Lift confidently with a bench that is sleek for recreational users, yet robust enough for the most dedicated lifters with a 1000lb capacity. All you need to do is pull out from the wall, and the bench deploys to the flat position. Adjust it to your preferred incline level and you’re ready to go.

All done? Simply fold back onto the wall in one motion for a low-profile bench that sticks out only inches when stored.

All mounting hardware is included. Ships fully assembled.

The required space for your Incline Folding Bench for proper use within your rack is 65" height on the wall, 66" from the wall, and 50" of total width. This allows space for the bench to be properly stored, deployed, and used.

The Incline Folding Bench mounts onto two 16" studs, centered between any of our wall-mounted racks. If your studs are not spaced 16" apart, or you have unevenly spaced studs, you will need a ledger board.

The Incline Folding Bench mounts to the wall slightly lower than the PRx Profile® Flat Folding Bench. If you have an obstruction that is 8-15" from the floor (such as an outlet, foundation lip, or a wall bracket for your rack), please email us at sales@prxperformance.com for details.

Decided for the incline bench over the flat bench.

I knew I wanted a folding bench, and popped for the incline bench. Like everything PRx Performance sells, this bench is heavy-duty and high quality. I was confused by another reviewer who mentioned "safety bars" as I don't see those as an option and my bench works just fine and is very secure. I'm 200 lbs and not throwing around more than 125 lbs, for what it's worth. But if you're routinely benching 300 lbs you might investitgate further. I have 24" stud centers on this interior non-load bearing wall. PRx recommended a 48" stringer board (not a bad idea) but I didn't want do that so I used a couple of 3/4 inch oak scraps I had, glued them together then used three lag screws to bolt that to the wall. (Hidden behind the bench mounting plate in the photo). My DIY skills are a little above-average so make sure you do what is safe and secure for your particular installation. The only tough part was attaching the compression shocks, but the instructions give you an easy work-around for that if you have trouble. All components and hardware is high-quality steel. Very, very pleased with my purchase. And you can't beat PRx Performance's customer service.

BUY THE SAFETY ARMS

This bench just collapsed on me for the second time while doing incline press. The first time I thought it might be user error but after it happened again just now I feel the need to say something. The pins slipped out mid rep and I fell flat with the bar on my chest. Luckily I only had 165 loaded and I was able to maneuver out from under it. I will not being using this without the safety arms in place ever again.

We are very excited and impressed with the home gym package we purchased. Not only was it simple to install it will handle pretty much any workout you want to do. The convenience factor alone was one of the main reasons we purchased it. You can tell that the materials used in the manufacturing are high quality. We are very happy with it!

Solid Bench with a Few Flaws

The bench does what it is designed to do. It inclines, sets up nicely to your rack so you aren't trying to find the proper position when you rack/unrack your barbell. Lots of adjustment settings. Two drawbacks: 1 - the bench isn't very stable. Seat rocks, upper pad rocks, springs don't provide any help raising/lowering the bench. Needs to be more sturdy for heavy lifting. 2 - this is probably my fault not thinking ahead, but if you plan on having a mirror between the rack posts, your mirror will be completely blocked by the bench. If you lower the bench, you need to be at least 8-10 feet from the wall to have the bench lowered and use the mirror.
